(FOO-intern) – Der Wacken Metal Battle kehrt zurück auf Mount Moshmore! Wie 2013 werden die beiden deutschen Finalisten des weltweit größten Wettbewerbs für ungesignte Metalbands das Dong Open Air eröffnen. Die Jury ermittelt bei uns den Sieger, der dann nach Wacken fährt und um einen der fünf begehrten Siegerplätze streitet!
Zwei Jahre lang setzte Deutschland nach 2013 seine Teilnahme aus, da es mehr Teilnehmernationen als Finalslots auf dem Wacken Open Air gibt. Dass jetzt bei uns unter unserem Leitmotiv „Supporting Heavy Underground Since 2001“ weitergebattlet wird, passt wie Arsch auf Eimer und freut uns sehr!

The Wacken Metal Battle returns to Mount Moshmore! Just as they did in 2013, the two finalists of the globally biggest competition for unsigned metal bands are going to open at the Dong Open Air. The jury is going to select a winner who then gets to travel to Wacken to fight for one of the five winning slots!
Since 2013, Germany could not compete in the battle as there were more participating nations than there were final slots at the Wacken Open Air. True to our motto “Supporting Heavy Underground since 2001,” we are stoked to have the battle continue on our festival, a perfect match!
