Es steht! Das volle Programm beim Roskilde Festival – inkl. Rolling Stones

(FOO-intern) – Nun wurden das gesamte Line up des diesjährigen Roskilde Festivals (bei Kopenhagen / Dänemark) bekannt gegeben. Und da sind schon wahre Perlen dabei. Und wenn man bedenkt, das, abgesehen von Fahrtkosten, der Eintritt für, wenn man möchte, acht Tage Festival nur so um die 260 Euro kostet, lohnt sich die Fahrt. Drake, Stevie Wonder, Manu Chao La Ventura and Deftones are among the 67 new acts confirmed today for Denmark’s Roskilde Festival. The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Outkast and Damon Albarn are also in the total line-up of 156 acts from more than 30 different countries.

Roskilde Festival in Denmark is now ready with the full line-up – and thus ready to challenge and spoil all music lovers with a line-up of leading artists in the field of alternative rock, hip hop, electronic, world and metal – and especially the artists who cross genres and explores new territories.

Legends and giants side by side
A new headliner announced today is 27-year-old Canadian rapper Drake who has more than 14 million followers on Twitter and belongs in hip hop’s major league.

In 2014, he joins a line-up featuring other legends and giants like The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Damon Albarn, Stevie Wonder, Arto Lindsay, Carcass, Outkast and the mythological Les Ambassadeurs feat. Salif Keita, Amadou Bagayoko and Cheick Tidiane Seck.

While the rock acts seems ever vital with artists like Deftones, Kasabian, Mogwai, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Interpol and Skambankt, a notable selection of rappers are present with Pusha T, Chance The Rapper and Earl Sweatshirt.

With Outkast, Major Lazer and Trentemøller performing shows on main stage Orange Stage, Roskilde Festival continues a tradition of spreading hip hop and the many branches of electronic music to the larger crowds.

The stars of tomorrow
For music fans chasing the stars of tomorrow, Roskilde Festival promises a line-up of artists who push the genres and challenge the audience’s expectations.

Names like A$AP Ferg, Connan Mockasin, Darkside, Fendika, Future Islands, Future of the Left, Haim, Hookworms, The Horrors, Kelela, Sleigh Bells, The Men and Warpaint are artists who will undoubtedly resonate for years to come.
