The Rolling Stones’ 14 ON FIRE tour sees Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood out on the road again. And this time they bring their iconic music to Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
The show will mark the band’s very first appearance at Roskilde Festival – and their first in Denmark for seven years.
The Rolling Stones will treat their audience to a set packed full of classic Stones hits such as ‘Gimme Shelter’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Jumping Jack Flash’, ‘Tumbling Dice’, ‘It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll’, plus a couple of unexpected gems.

A Return to the Orange Stage
The show at Roskilde Festival in 2014 also represents a very special event on the group’s tour:
After 38 years, The Rolling Stones finally return to the distinctive Orange Stage that the band itself originally developed for their European tour back in 1976.
In 1978, the Roskilde Festival organisers bought the stage in England, and over the decades it has become a treasured icon and one of the most prestigious and respected festival stages in the world.
Roskilde Festival’s head of programme Anders Wahrén says:
“For years, we have dreamt of the moment when we got the opportunity to reunite The Rolling Stones with the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival. In 2014, they have decided to try on a European festival audience, and we are extremely proud that we have managed to get them to play Roskilde Festival. The Rolling Stones have earned their own place in rock history among the greatest icons, and back in the 70s they even developed the unique stage that later became our very own Orange Stage.
We have often experienced that the rock legends give themselves 100% to the audience when they finally decide to play festivals. So I’ve no doubt that The Rolling Stones’ show at Roskilde Festival 2014 will become a unique and spectacular bash that’ll echo for many years after”.
